WSBC 2025 — Final Virtual Details

We are so glad you’ll be joining us for the 2025 World Service Business Convention (WSBC)! This document contains important details to help you prepare for the hybrid event and a few general reminders to support a smooth and respectful experience for everyone attending. Please take a few moments to read through this information in advance so you know what to expect and where to find support if you need it.

Update Your Zoom Software Beforehand

To avoid last-minute technical issues, please make sure your Zoom app is up to date.

• On Desktop (Mac/PC):

1.     Open Zoom

2.    Click your profile picture (top right)

3.    Select “Check for Updates”

4.    Install if an update is available

• On Mobile (iOS/Android):

1.     Open the App Store or Google Play Store

2.    Search for Zoom Cloud Meetings

3.    Tap “Update”, if available

Power up! 

Reminder: Make sure your device is fully charged.

How Do I Log into the Virtual Convention?

Virtual Voting Members:

For voting members, you will receive an email on Friday, May 30th, with your voting details and a Zoom login link. Follow the Zoom link from that email to log in to the voting member Zoom meeting. If you have any trouble logging on, you can call or text 781.932.6300.

Participation Guidelines for Virtual Voting Members:

• To protect anonymity, all members must participate from a quiet, private location. 

• Do not record the meeting or take photos of the group screen. 

• We recognize that participants will be joining from different time zones, so if you need to eat a meal during the business session, please do so with your camera OFF. 

• Your camera must be ON when speaking.

• If you’re experiencing internet or bandwidth issues, please turn your camera OFF.

• Unless you are called on to speak, please keep yourself on MUTE at all times.

Virtual Non-Voting Members:

You will receive a separate email on Friday, May 30, with instructions on how to access the Convention livestream. The livestream will be available through your My Business Convention Page, which can also be accessed from your FA profile.

Accessing Your Convention Information and Livestream:

Please log in to your FA profile on the website and click on the 2025 My Convention Page. This page is your personalized hub for all Convention-related details, including your registration status and important updates. See below for an example of what your profile may look like.

How to watch the Business Convention Livestream (for virtual non-voting members):

• Log in with your FA username and passcode.

• Go to the My Business Convention page..

• Click the play button to start the livestream.

• The livestream will begin on Saturday, May 31, at 8:30 AM Eastern Time.
