WSI 12th Step Committee
- The WSI 12th Step Committee holds the mission of encouraging and providing service to the FA fellowship. We look for ways to help new and returning members get and stay abstinent, give service, and grow in their recovery.
- The WSI 12th Step Committee supports and collaborates with Eastern Area Intergroup (EAI), Western Area Intergroup (WAI), the Maine Chapter 12th Step committees, and other WSI committees, reinforcing FA unity.
- The 12th Step Committee primarily works through subcommittees which are focused on different aspect of the fellowship. There are four subcommittees:
- Newcomer’s Support and Assistance (NSA)
- Meeting Effectiveness Support and Assistance (MESA)
- The Only Requirement (TOR)
- Voting Member Support and Assistance (VMSA)
- The 12th Step Committee maintains the Service Opportunities Portal (SOP) where open service positions are posted, allowing volunteers to sign up or apply.
- The 12th Step Committee leads the Thank-a-Thon activities of FA, serving as a resource for communications and assistance.
