A Public Information Representative is tasked with telling the local community about FA meetings
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PI REPRESENTATIVES
- Read these PI Announcements at each monthly business meeting.
- Distribute the pamphlet, “Food Addiction and the FA Solution” or the booklet, “Food Addicts in Recovery the First Two Chapters" at monthly business meetings.
- Provide updated Packets for Faith Community Leaders.
- Update and provide copies of local Meeting Directory Trifolds.
- Coordinate your meeting’s efforts to Sponsor-a-Rack.
- Post Calendar Items with your meeting’s time and location online and in local media.
- Provide your current contact information to your Meeting Contact.

- For the PI projects listed below, it is often best to work with a team.
- So, involve other members of your meeting and/or work with your Local Service Group (LSG) if there is one in your area. (To learn more about LSG’s consider attending a WSI SGSC meeting.)
- Be sure to co-ordinate these activities with your local Chapter/Intergroup.
