EAI Service Support Weekend Planning Committee
SSW is an EAI-sponsored event that is held every other year in November. It is planned by the members of the SSW Planning Committee with support from the EAI Board, EAI Office Committee and many FA members willing to do service.
The purpose of the SSW is to come together and share about Abstinence, Gratitude, and SERVICE. This weekend helps FA members throughout the world stay connected, continue to grow in our recovery, and practice passing on the message of recovery to the newcomer by focusing on the tool of Service.
Mission
To expand the reach of Eastern Area Intergroup (EAI) by bringing the Service Support Weekend to eligible fellowships throughout EAI through a thoughtful selection process, collaborative planning, and effective execution that supports FA members in using the tools of Abstinence, Gratitude, and Service to support those still suffering from food addiction.
