FA Meeting Census - Please do it this month!

Periodically, FA conducts a census to estimate the size of our fellowship so we can let the public know that FA is growing and that the program really works. We are asking each WSI Contact to collect census information at their meeting the week of November 2 - 8, 2025 and enter the information below. The meeting Secretary or meeting Contact is also able to collect and enter the census information in place of the WSI Contact.

Instructions for WSI Contact

After your meeting starts, quietly count how many people are in attendance, including yourself, and write down the number.
During the announcements, say, “The FA World Service Office Committee is conducting a census to determine the size of our fellowship. I have counted the number of people who are at this meeting, but please raise your hand now if you have already been counted at another meeting so that we do not double count you. Thank you.”
Count the number of people who raised their hands and write this number down.
After the meeting:
Subtract those who had already been counted at a previous meeting (item 3 above) from the total number of meeting attendees (item 1 above). The number remaining is your meeting attendance. Write this number down and enter it below in the “attendance box.”

Example:

25 people at the meeting, and 5 had already been counted at a previous meeting.

Total meeting attendees (Step 1): 25

People who had already been counted at a previous meeting (Step 3): 5

Subtract 5 from 25 to get 20. Enter 20 in the “attendance box” below.
