Breakout Session Descriptions:

  • Service: Everything’s Changed – and Nothing’s Changed: No matter what changes occur in FA, our personal lives or the world around us, the focus remains the same. Abstinence and Service.
  • Service: Getting the Word Out!: There are a variety of ways to use the tool of Literature to reach newcomers and stay connected to current FA members, through the use of electronic media and more traditional means. Sharing literature is an important act of service that can keep us united and connected, especially when many members of FA are not connecting in person.
  • Service: It All Starts with Abstinence!: A sharing session about how staying abstinent gives us the spiritual strength we need to be present and available for others.
  • Service: Sharing Our Experience, Strength & Hope! (Qualification): The leader tells their story (“qualifies”), describing what their life was like before becoming abstinent, what happened to bring them to FA, and what their life is like in recovery.
