The Bylaws committee ensures that FA-EAI actions and activities comply with the FA-EAI Bylaws and FA-EAI Continuing Effect Motions (CEMs), as well as WSI bylaws governing Intergroups. The committee maintains and updates the Bylaws and CEMs. Membership on this committee is by invitation, but visitors are always welcome to attend the committee meetings.
FA-EAI BYLAWS MOTION VOTING RESULTS
We would like to share the results of the FA-EAI Bylaws Motion vote that occurred on May 16, 2021 at the monthly EAI meeting.
Both motions received the required 2/3 vote.
- The FA-EAI Executive Board length of abstinence requirement has been changed from 3 years to 5 years.
- The FA-EAI Committee Chairperson length of abstinence requirement has been changed from 2 years to 5 years.

MAIN MOTIONS VOTING RESULTS
The NY/Florida Combo Motion and the Sharon Meeting Motion both received the required 2/3 vote. These two main motions will be submitted to the WSC. The Everett Meeting motion did not receive a required 2/3 vote and subsequently will not be submitted to the WSC. To view the MOTIONS, click here.
